Here are some facts that prove it.

Disney+'s Ahsoka, which just aired its finale, has many Star Wars fans excited for the next chapter. But it hasn't been greenlit yet.

The new show, set in George Lucas' beloved galaxy far, far away, was nothing short of a comeback for the franchise, which had begun to lose its appeal in recent years. Both new and old viewers couldn't get enough of the story of Ahsoka Tano and her gang.

The world-building was amazing, with stunning new elements and ties to the Jedi saga. The protagonists were well-developed and relatable, with Ahsoka becoming the favorite Star Wars character for many viewers. The storylines had audiences on the edge of their seats.

However, the show's finale came and went, and Disney still hasn't renewed Ahsoka for a second season. Since the series is one of the many Star Wars projects streaming on the service, fans are getting nervous. Could it be that we will never see Ahsoka in a starring role again?

Take heart, Star Wars fans. Here are a few facts that prove Ahsoka Season 2 is pretty much an inevitability.

Star Favors Sequel

Rosario Dawson, who plays Ahsoka Tano, told Empire that she wants the series to get as many installments as possible.

'I'm ready. I'm excited. I'm willing. I got my ice packs ready to go for Season 2 and beyond!' she said.

High Ratings

Earlier, the Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Season 2 talks were underway and that whether or not Season 2 would happen was going to depend on how Season 1 did. And the show didn’t disappoint.

Only the premiere episode had 14 million views during its first week on the platform. With the rest of the show garnering similar numbers, the renewal looks more than real.

Star Wars Social Media Change Tune

According to Gizmodo, the official Star Wars social media accounts made an interesting change in their posts announcing the latest episode. They went from referring to the season's last episode as 'the series finale' to calling it 'the season finale.' It has to mean something, doesn't it?

Story Ends on Cliffhanger

Without spoiling anything, the show's plot suggests that a sequel is only a matter of time. This season ended on a cliffhanger and feels like the first act of a much bigger story.
