Who Knew Blue Bloods' Donnie Wahlberg Can Pull Off Such a Fancy Footwork?
Season 13 of TV's best Friday primetime show, Blue Bloods, continues to delight fans with the story of the Reagan family and their efforts to maintain law and order in New York City.
While the current season is already approaching its end, filming of its last episodes only recently finished, which was a big deal for fans, who are eager to see some of the season's storylines concluded in the remaining few episodes, as well as for the series' cast and crew.
The Blue Bloods team got quite emotional as they wrapped up the season on April 4, and it also turned out to be a great opportunity for Donnie Wahlberg, who portrays Danny Reagan, to show off his dance moves.
On the day the season's production was over, Donnie Wahlberg posted a video on his Instagram in which the crew announced the end of season 13 and applauded the actor for his outstanding work on Blue Bloods over the years.
In the clip, the co-founder of New Kids on the Block showed that he's not only a brilliant actor but an equally good dancer as well, wowing everyone with some impressive footwork and proving that the time he spent in the iconic boy band was totally not wasted.
'I can't tell you all how fortunate I am to work with such an amazing cast & crew, nor can I ever properly express my gratitude to them and to all of you — our loyal fans & viewers!' Wahlberg added.
It's no wonder that the actor got so emotional, expressing his immense gratitude to all the people who have been around him on the Blue Bloods set and in front of their screens all that time.
The popular show has been on the air for nearly 13 years, and that is obviously a big part of Wahlberg's life — although his tenure in NKOTB was much, much longer.
'I've been in my band for almost 40 years, 30-something years, and I've been doing this show for 13 years and I'm so grateful for it,' the actor noted in another interview, once again pointing out how much he appreciates the experience.
It's great to see that Donnie Wahlberg is as invested in the show as he is in his music project, and fans are also glad to know he considers everyone who's been involved with the series, including the audience, to be his extended family.
Meanwhile, as fans admire Wahlberg's exciting dance moves, they are already itching to see the remaining few episodes of Blue Bloods to air on CBS. Episodes 18 and 19 of Blue Blood Season 13 will be released on April 21 and May 5, 2023.
