We all know what happened to Megan, but where are the remaining actors now?

With the writers' and actors' strikes in full swing, almost the entire television industry has come to an indefinite halt. Against this devastating backdrop, a surprising thing happened — ratings for the once-popular legal procedural drama Suits, now streaming on Peacock and Netflix, suddenly began to rise.

Suits became a hit almost immediately when it debuted on USA Network in 2011. Exploring the lives of New York's elite and the attempts of the lower class to make their way in those circles, the show featured a multiracial cast, which was quite unusual in the early 2010s, as well as strong female characters who were equal to their male counterparts and sometimes even kept the entire plot to themselves.

Of course, the show wouldn't have become as popular without its brilliant cast showcasing incredible talent and chemistry on screen. So what happened to the beloved Suits actors 12 years after the show premiered?

Meghan Markle

Markle was the series' main star until her departure in Season 7. She played Rachel Zane, the daughter of a famous New York lawyer, who decided to not take advantage of his fame and build her own career from scratch, landing a job at Pearson Hardman.

Should we spend any of your time talking about Meghan's life after Suits? This was her last acting role, as Markle met Prince Harry in 2016, while still starring in the series, and married the man two years later. After tying the knot with King Charles and Princess Diana's son, the now-Duchess of Sussex ended her Hollywood career. And you know the rest — Megxit, the move to California, and the controversial documentaries.

Patrick J. Adams

The actor played Mike Ross, a talented man with a photographic memory, a quick and sharp mind, and resourcefulness that allowed him to get a job at the prestigious Pearson without a law degree, which made a great impression on the other protagonist, Harvey.

Before Suits, Patrick J. Adams was not a big-name actor, appearing only in minor roles in popular shows like Friday Night Lights, Lost, and NCIS. The role of Mike on Suits was his breakthrough, earning him the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance.

Though he hasn't become an A-list star, Adams' career was solidified with more prominent roles after Suits. He appeared in the horror miniseries Rosemary's Baby, co-starred with his wife in the film Clara, and also took part in the musical The Swearing Jar. Most recently, the actor starred in the time-travel drama series Plan B.

Gabriel Macht

In Suits, Gabriel Macht starred as Harvey, a talented but not-too-hardworking Harvard graduate and lawyer who hates courtrooms. Before the hit series, he had a number of big-screen roles, including in the spy film The Good Shepherd and the superhero neo-noir movie The Spirit, and even starred in Love & Other Drugs alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway.

Macht was a part of the Suits cast right until the show ended in 2019, but after that, he only appeared as a cameo in the Pearson spin-off. Following that, he decided to take a career hiatus, apparently to spend more time with his wife, actress Jacinda Barrett, and their two children.

Rick Hoffman

Prior to Suits, Rick Hoffman starred in several low-budget projects, including the horror series Hostel and the satirical comedy Postal. Besides, Suits isn't the only procedural starring the actor, as he has also had minor roles in The Practice and the CSI franchise, among other TV series. Hoffman also had a starring role in the sitcom Jake in Progress.

Since playing Louis Litt in Suits, Hoffman hasn't appeared on screen much. In 2020–2021, he starred in the fifth season of Billions, and this year, you can see him again in the slasher film Thanksgiving, set to premiere on November 17.

Sarah Rafferty

Sarah Rafferty's Donna Paulsen was one of the most important characters in Suits, often giving Mike and Harvey the right advice and support, and getting married in the series finale.

Though her acting resume is not particularly extensive, it is quite colorful, including titles like Law & Order, CSI, and Bones. After ending her tenure on Suits, Rafferty appeared in Grey's Anatomy and Chicago Med.

Gina Torres

Playing the role of Jessica Pearson, one of the firm's co-founders, Gina Torres was probably the most recognizable actress among her Suits castmates. She rose to fame as Zoe in the cult sci-fi series Firefly, and her role as Cas in the Wachowski sisters' second and third parts of The Matrix also added to Torres' popularity.

After Suits, she starred in the spin-off Pearson and joined the cast of the procedural 9-1-1: Lone Star in its second season. In 2023, she played one of the main roles in the Netflix feature film The Perfect Find. Torres also works as a voice actress, lending her voice to many animated and video game characters.
