The upcoming movie could restart Dylan's career.

Since the end of Teen Wolf and Maze Runner, Dylan O'Brien has been practically off the fans' radar, appearing only in small roles in a handful of films and cameos for a few prestige projects. Coincidentally, the same can be said for Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor, as the star is still trying to get the same level of attention she got for starring in Netflix's romantic drama.

Fortunately, it looks like both actors will be getting their careers back on track soon, as their upcoming movie together is already looking like a potential awards contender.

The duo is currently involved in a film called Anniversary, which is now shooting in Dublin. Luckily, it looks like the production won't be affected by the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, as the team was given a waiver to continue shooting after some deliberation.

A stacked cast and a great director

Following a close-knit family that is torn apart after a new movement sweeps the country, Anniversary is helmed by Polish director Jan Komasa, known for his Oscar-nominated movie Corpus Christi. With such a talented director leading the production, the new film looks like a possible critical darling, and the stacked cast further supports that theory.

More information is yet to be revealed

While it's still unknown who O'Brien and Dynevor will be playing, people suspect that the good-looking pair of actors will portray lovers in Anniversary, which makes the movie even more anticipated among fans.

It's also worth noting that Anniversary will be Komasa's first foray into English-speaking cinema, so fans of the Polish auteur can't wait to see how well the director handles the production.

Anniversary's official release date has yet to be announced by Lionsgate, but it seems that the movie will have a festival premiere first, with next year's Berlin or Cannes film festivals looking like the most sensible options.
