Video: Watch Jeremy Strong Busting Out Some Serious Dance Moves with Jessica Chastain
Only Madonna herself can pull off such moves.
We love celebrity friendships! It can be great fun seeing some of the most influential people, who wow us with their extraordinary acting skills and offer wise insights in top magazines, just goofing around and having fun. And there's no greater pleasure than watching Jessica Chastain and Jeremy Strong dance to Madonna's tunes. Oh, we really are 'hung up' on them!
The two actors have known each other for years, making no secret of their friendship. It's common for them to commend each other's serious approach to acting. But even more serious is their approach to dance, something even Kendall Roy would envy.
Dance Night in Milan
Amid the ongoing strike by actors and writers in Hollywood, Italy has become the temporary residence for many high-profile celebrities. From September 19 to 25, Milan hosted another Fashion Week, showcasing the hottest spring/summer designs. In addition to Chastain and Strong, numerous celebrities were in attendance, including Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, and Julia Roberts.
Of course, an event like this also guarantees a lot of fun! At the Gucci after-party, Jessica and Jeremy were spotted with Paul Mescal and Julia Garner partying to Madonna's Like a Prayer.
But apparently, the fun didn't end there. Jessica herself posted a continuation of the ultimate Madonna party on social media. In the video, Jeremy gives a very serious shrug as he two-steps around the hotel room to the 2005 hit Hung Up. But then attention shifts to the bathroom, where a radiant Chastain emerges from to offer Strong a lively dance routine. The latter also puts on a casual show to spice up the mood even further!
20 Years of Friendship
As Chastain noted, she and Strong have known each other for twenty years and remain close friends. They've collaborated on three films in 2012, 2017, and 2022, starring in Zero Dark Thirty, Molly's Game, and Armageddon Time.
When The New Yorker published a profile of Strong in 2021, Chastain voiced support for her friend.
'Ive known Jeremy Strong for 20yrs & worked with him on 2 films. He's a lovely person. Very inspiring & passionate about his work. The profile that came out on him was incredibly one sided,' she wrote at the time.
By the way, it wasn't just one night of fun for the duo. On Sunday, Chastain posted a video of the two preparing for the CNMI Fashion Awards.
