Blox Fruits’ Christmas update unleashes the Kitsune’s Empyrean mutation, juicing core attacks and adding two flashy skins, Crimson and Galaxy, for a serious combat upgrade.

Blox Fruits dropped a little holiday gift: the Kitsune fruit just got an Empyrean mutation. It is not just a new coat of paint. Yes, it comes with two skins (Crimson and Galaxy), but it also juices up the kit and makes the fox hit harder and further. If you run Kitsune, this one is worth chasing.

What the Empyrean mutation actually does

Empyrean is a straight upgrade over base Kitsune. You get a small bump to ground damage and a wider reach, so tagging enemies just outside your usual range gets easier. The standout tweaks are to two moves when you are in Kitsune form:

- [Z] Accursed Enchantment: Empyrean lets you use a different attack pattern than the standard version.

- [C] Fox Fire Disruption: triggers a short cutscene as the attack lands, on top of the boosted feel.

On top of that, several base Kitsune attacks get amplified. It is a subtle but meaningful glow-up that makes the fruit feel punchier.

How to get the Empyrean Kitsune (fast or painfully patient)

  • Wait for a world spawn: A mutated Empyrean fruit can randomly spawn on the ground somewhere across the First, Second, or Third Sea. If you have saint-level patience, this costs nothing but time.
  • Buy the Winter 2025 Fruit Box: A limited-time crate in the in-game Shop (hit the button on the left side of your screen). Pricing: 199 Robux for 1 box, 575 Robux for 3, or 1699 Robux for 10. Important: there is only a 1% chance to pull the Empyrean Kitsune from these boxes. No guarantees, even if you splurge. This is also the path if you specifically want the Crimson Empyrean skin.
  • Try the Blox Fruit Gacha NPC: Found in all three Seas. Pay for a random fruit and, if luck is on your side, you can get the Empyrean Kitsune here too — but only the Galaxy skin version. After each purchase there is a two-hour cooldown before you can roll again.

The small print (that actually matters)

- Crimson vs Galaxy: Galaxy can drop from Gacha; Crimson requires the Winter 2025 Fruit Box.

- Rarity: Empyrean is treated like an extremely rare Mythical/Chromatic mutation, which is why that box chance sits at 1%.

Bottom line

If you are a Kitsune player, Empyrean is the version you want. The damage bump, extra range, and the upgraded [Z] and [C] moves make the fruit feel sharper without changing its identity. Getting it is either luck, time, or both — but the payoff is real.
