Apple TV+ may not be as big as Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, but it certainly has a lot of notable, star-studded projects to brag about. This spring, the streaming service is seeing an influx of new seasons of its fan-favorite shows, as well as brand-new series. Here are just five of them.
The Big Door Prize (2023-present, 1 season, 6.4 on IMDb)
This comedy is set in a small town where nothing out of the ordinary ever happens. But one day, a mysterious machine appears in a local store and seems to help people realize their true potential. As the townspeople consult with the thing, they begin to change their lives.
Season 2 will be released on April 24.
Palm Royale (2024, 1 season, 6.7 on IMDb)
Starring SNL's Kristen Wiig, this period comedy-drama is an adaptation of Juliet McDaniel's novel Mr. & Mrs. American Pie, set in the late 1960s and following Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons, a typical housewife who dreams of joining the local elite resort club. As an outsider, she's not welcome there, but Maxine seems willing to go to any lengths to get what she wants.
Episode 7 of Season 1 will premiere on April 17.

Starring another former SNL icon, Maya Rudolph, this comedy centers on Molly Wells, the former Mrs. Novak, aka the ex-wife of a tech billionaire who was awarded $87 billion in a divorce. Blessed with this fortune, Molly continues to enjoy her life until she falls into depression and an existential crisis. To feel better, the character immerses herself in the work of her long-forgotten charitable foundation, hoping to make the world a better place.
Episode 4 of Season 2 will be released tomorrow, April 17.
Acapulco (2021-present, 2 seasons, 7.7 on IMDb)
This bilingual comedy series tells the story of Maximo Gallardo Ramos, now a successful Malibu-based mogul, who has amassed his fortune through a lifetime of hard work. In 1984, Maximo was a nobody who could only dream of getting a job at the most prestigious resort hotel in Acapulco. After landing the job, he quickly realized that it was much harder than he had imagined and his long road to success began.
Season 3 will premiere on May 1.
Sugar (2024, 1 season, 8.0 on IMDb)
Starring Colin Farrell, this mystery drama explores the classic private detective trope from a new angle. Centered on Los Angeles-based private investigator John Sugar, the show follows the character as he investigates the disappearance of the granddaughter of one of Hollywood's most famous producers, while also delving into Sugar's personal drama.
Episode 4 of Season 1 will premiere on April 19.
