Kevin Costner's Divorce From Christine Baumgartner

Although this year has seen a number of celebrity divorces, this one remains the most scandalous of all. The designer filed for divorce from the Western star and her husband of nineteen years in the spring. She reportedly demanded nearly $250,000 a month in child support, which Costner and his legal team called unreasonable. The actor went on to accuse his now ex-wife of taking advantage of their children and his infidelity, making the legal battle ugly.

Scandoval

The stars of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval, were one of the main reasons fans watched the reality show. Their relationship was at the center of the show and many people had been following it for years. Everything seemed perfect until Tom was caught cheating on Ariana with her best friend Raquel Leviss. Meanwhile, Madix and Sandoval have split their assets and continue to work together on Vanderpump Rules.

Jonathan Majors' Criminal Conviction

It's been a few days since the Marvel star was found guilty of assault and harassment. Jonathan Majors was first arrested in connection with the allegations in March, when the NYPD charged him with domestic abuse. As a result, most of Majors' endorsement and acting contracts were terminated. Following a trial that lasted from late November to mid-December, and his subsequent conviction, the actor faces a criminal sentence.

Ariana Grande's Affair

Another case of celebrity infidelity, this one is even more bizarre than Scandoval. Ariana Grande and her Wicked co-star have been rumored to be dating since early summer. And while they haven't gone public with their relationship, both celebs are separated and divorced from their spouses, Dalton Gomez and Lilly Jay, respectively. The most scandalous part of this affair is that Ariana had been a family friend of Ethan and Lilly for a long time and ended up ruining the family.

Hostile Work Environment Allegations Against Lizzo

The fan and media favorite singer was involved in a lawsuit this year alleging sexual misconduct and creating a hostile work environment on her behalf. The artist and her management company were accused by three backup dancers of multiple counts of harassment, including sexual harassment and assault. Later this year, another former employee filed a lawsuit against Lizzo, adding inducement of drug use to the allegations. The musician and her team have vehemently denied all allegations.
