Red Queen (6.8 on IMDb)
Adapted from Juan Gómez-Jurado's novel of the same name, this Spanish thriller series follows Antonia Scott, the smartest person in the world with an IQ of over 240, who is forced to leave the comfort of her quiet lifestyle and solitude after the murder of a wealthy family's heir and the kidnapping of the heiress. Unwillingly, Antonia becomes involved in a secret police project of which she is the main asset.
My Lady Jane (7.0 on IMDb)
Based on Jodi Meadows, Brodi Ashton and Cynthia Hand's novel My Plain Jane, a historical re-imagining of the life of Lady Jane Grey, Queen Elizabeth I's cousin who became sovereign of England and Ireland for nine days in 1553, this historical fantasy drama tells the story of her marriage to Lord Guildford Dudley. With Jane somewhere in line for the throne, chaos and intrigue overwhelm her life. To make matters worse, there's a war going on between ordinary people and magicians who can transform themselves into animals.
Who Killed Him? (7.1 on IMDb)
This true-crime biopic offers an insight into the murder of the famous Mexican TV host Paco Stanley, which took place in 1999 and remains unsolved to this day. Their testimonies lead to different conclusions and point to different suspects. And the intrigues of the celebrity world only make the situation more confusing.
