Tom Holland Can't Stop Gushing About Zendaya, Gives Fans Toothache

For some inexplicable reason, we all love shoving our noses into famous people's private lives, following them on their social media and reading magazines to find out more about their romantic affairs. And while we usually empathize with the celebrities we like, feeling happy for them when their romances go well, sometimes even the most loyal fans get fed up with the stars' love stories. This seems to be the case with Tom Holland and his sweetheart, Zendaya.
Tom and Zendaya, his co-star on Spider-Man: Homecoming, appeared on each other's Instagram pages and walked red carpets together in 2016–2017, making people curious if the two are actually in a relationship. Many media outlets immediately picked up on those rumors, and though the stars didn't comment on their alleged romance at first, they finally confirmed their dating status in November 2021.
Of course, the actors' fans have been extremely happy for them, but now it looks like some people are a little overwhelmed with the excessive sweetness of the couple's romance.
Just recently, Tom Holland has spoken up about his relationship with Zendaya, showering his stellar girlfriend in praise of all kinds. According to him, it is their shared experience as actors that makes their romance work so brilliantly.
'I'm lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life,' the actor told the hosts of the Smartless podcast (per People). 'It's interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you. You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff — and that's worth its weight in gold.'
Yes, this sounds pretty sweet, and many people can go 'aww' over Holland's words. But the thing is, ever since their relationship became public, the actor has been really cloying when talking about Zendaya in interviews — so much so that some fans are getting irritated by his immeasurable love and appreciation for his girlfriend.
'Having her in my life was so instrumental to my sanity,' Tom told GQ in 2021. 'She is so good at being the role model for young guys and girls.'
We are, of course, incredibly happy for Zendaya and Tom Holland, and hope to see their relationship thrive in years to come… But seriously, Tom, try to keep it a bit more private, maybe?
