Battlefield 6 launched with Portal as one of its big-ticket features, and honestly, it earned that spotlight. It lets the community remix classic maps, invent new modes, and bend the rules in all the best ways, then share those creations with everyone else. Like any user-generated playground, some of it is forgettable. But a few builds are absolutely worth your time. Here are three Portal picks that actually deliver.
Project Osiris (by Phiality — code: 2z1e)
Old-school zombie survival, Battlefield-style. You start against lighter waves of 'zombies' (read: BF6 soldiers) and push forward by mowing them down, unlocking doors, and advancing to the next round. Between waves, you can spend to gear up with weapons and power-ups, because every new wave gets nastier. Pro tip: do not turtle in a corner unless you want to get swallowed by a fast-moving horde. It ramps up quickly and stays tense.
Gungame (by Tastysyntax — code: cj78)
If you know the classic Call of Duty mode, you know the drill: everyone spawns with a pistol. Each kill bumps you to a new weapon tier — think SMG, LMG, AR, then a sniper — until you hit the last step and need a knife kill to win. Simple loop, great chaos.
Hey there people! Come try out our version of Gungame on BF6!
Right now there is only one map in rotation, but the creator says more maps are coming via Reddit. One slightly confusing detail: the Reddit promo post is from user Cerzix, while the in-game experience is credited to Tastysyntax. Either way, punch in code 'cj78' and you are in.
Shipment 24/7 (by Remix — code: nvYHA)
Yep, people are rebuilding iconic CoD maps and modes in Portal, and this one leans all the way in. Containers stack into a proper Shipment layout with that familiar, claustrophobic flow. It is pure close-quarters chaos: sprint, shoot, respawn, repeat. Hit the target score and take the match.

Creator Matavatar is building out two more CoD-style throwbacks, Killhouse and Rust. Those servers are not live yet, but you can keep tabs on progress over on X at @Matavatar.
Portal is one of Battlefield 6's best toys because it lets the community get weird, nostalgic, and clever all at once. If you have been sifting through a lot of duds, start with these three. And if you have a favorite Portal map I missed, drop it in the comments — always happy to lose an evening to a great custom.
