This Week on Disney Plus: Every New Show and Movie Arriving Oct 13–19, 2025

Disney+ is doing that grab-bag thing this week: a brand-new band dramedy, a vampire at arts school, a moody period thriller, and a Marvel mash-up that throws Spidey and Iron Man in the same sandbox. Oh, and there are live shows and sports tucked in too. It’s a lot, in a good way.

Electric Bloom starts the set

Premiering Wednesday, 'Electric Bloom' (Season 1) follows the members of a wildly popular band as they look back on the friendship that built them. They met in high school, chased the dream, and somehow ended up as the biggest act in the universe. The show leans into the group’s chemistry and how that bond survived the rise. New episodes roll out starting at launch.

Vampirina goes full boarding school musical

'Vampirina: Teenage Vampire' is a musical comedy about a vampire girl sneaking her way through a human performing-arts boarding school while trying to keep the fangs under wraps. It premieres the same day as 'Electric Bloom' and drops all episodes at once, so yes, it’s a full binge if you want it.

The Murky Stream gets dark (literally)

'The Murky Stream' returns with new episodes. Set in a rough, lawless stretch of the Joseon era, it kicks off when the once-clear Gyeonggang River turns muddy, and three people’s lives get knotted together from there. The show promises turns and complications as those fates collide. It’s labeled a Hulu Original but is landing on Disney+ alongside the rest of the week’s lineup.

Spidey + Iron Man = big swings

Marvel’s 'Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team-Up!' debuts with Spider-Man joining Iron Man and the Avengers to stop Ultron and Green Goblin from taking control of the city. The official blurb says 'control the city’s advice,' which reads like a typo; assume classic villain-takeover stakes.
