Daredevil lands in Marvel Rivals with Season 4.5 this October, and early tests suggest the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is a high-skill, high-reward standout whose kit pays off for players who master it.

Daredevil is finally tagging into Marvel Rivals in October with the start of Season 4.5, and the early chatter is that he is not a pick-up-and-pray hero. He is the kind of character who rewards good timing and smart reads. The headline, though, is one very on-brand move called 'Objection' that turns enemy fire back on them and makes him a counterplay menace.

The move everyone is going to talk about: 'Objection'

Hit 'Objection' and Daredevil starts spinning his billy clubs like a shield. While it is active, he blocks all damage coming from the front, reflects incoming projectiles right back at the sender, and is briefly untouchable. Yes, that includes most ultimates. Every shot he parries also builds Fury, the resource that powers the rest of his offense, so a well-timed 'Objection' sets him up to swing back hard.

If you are wondering what it does not bounce: the list is short. It cannot reflect Jeff, Psylocke, or Emma Frost ultimates, and there is a quirky, technically-it-does-not-work caveat with Ultron. Pretty much everything else is fair game. Even Punisher’s explosives and Hawkeye’s precision shots can ping-pong back for self-inflicted pain if you time it right.

And that is the catch. In the middle of a messy team fight, seeing and timing everything is tough. But if you master the window, Daredevil becomes a nightmare in 1v1s and a shutdown machine against big hero plays.

The rest of the kit is built around Fury

  • Justice Jab + Righteous Cross: Fast melee strikes with the billy clubs that build Fury and let you keep pressure up in close quarters.
  • Sonic Pursuit: Locks onto a target and lets Daredevil dash to them if they are in range. If it connects, the enemy is blinded and you restore Fury.
  • Devil’s Latch: A pull that drags an enemy in, lining them up for your combos.
  • Infernal Fury: A choose-your-power moment. Pick Devil’s Chain to restore health or Devil’s Throw to slow enemies, depending on what the fight needs.
  • Ultimate — Let the Devil Out: Daredevil cuts loose, damaging anyone in his line of sight and blinding them. It is chaos, on purpose.

So, is he worth the wait?

From what testers are saying, yep. Daredevil looks like one of the most skill-based and rewarding heroes in the roster so far. The whole kit clicks together around Fury and aggressive dueling, but 'Objection' is the inside-baseball spice that lets you flip the script on enemy ultimates. Which one are you most excited to swat right back at them?
