These 5 Weapons Make Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies Feel Like Easy Mode
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies is overflowing with firepower, but only a few guns truly erase the horde. From instant unlocks to grind-worthy beasts, these five weapons turn every corner of the map into a kill zone.
Black Ops 7 Zombies makes you feel like a walking armory fast, but a few guns clearly do the heavy lifting. Some are handed to you on day one, others take a little XP grind, and a couple get downright silly once you hit the Pack-a-Punch. If you want to melt hordes instead of kiting them forever, these are the five standouts.
Yes, the upgrades are wild
Quick heads-up: Pack-a-Punch does some unexpected things this year. We are talking perfect hipfire on certain guns, an LMG that actually speeds you up, and a pistol that literally turns into a mini shotgun. It sounds chaotic because it is — in a good way.
-
VS Recon (Sniper Rifle) — Instant unlock. Not the obvious zombie pick, but it absolutely is here. It one-shots basically anything shambling at you, and after Pack-a-Punch it gains 100% hipfire accuracy. Translation: no scoping required. Sprint, point, delete. As you level it, you open up stronger attachments and it only gets nastier.
-
Razor 9mm (SMG) — Unlocks at Level 19. Once Pack-a-Punched, it also gets 100% hipfire accuracy, which is ridiculous given the fire rate and damage. Skip hipfire-boosting parts and build for damage instead. You can sprint and spray without ever slowing down to ADS. It is reliable, quick, and super consistent when the map gets crowded.
-
Coda 9 (Automatic Pistol) — Unlocks at Level 34, and the grind pays off. It has some of the best DPS in the mode. Level it and you unlock Akimbo, which lets you dual-wield two Coda 9s and turn hallways into confetti. The mags are small (it is an auto pistol), but the combo of rate of fire and damage is so strong that once you adjust to the rhythm, it erases waves.
-
MK.78 LMG — Instant unlock. Starts with a beefy 75-round magazine, and Pack-a-Punch gives you a movement boost that pushes your base walk speed above normal. You feel fast even without sprinting, which is hilarious on an LMG. Between the big mag, high damage, and that speed bump, it is a top-tier horde clearer and a great way to rack up levels fast. Honestly, it is in the conversation for best gun in the entire game, not just Zombies.
-
Jager 45 (Pistol) — Instant unlock and the champ of the mode right now. Pack-a-Punch converts its rounds into shotgun pellets, so the damage spikes hard. Keep leveling and you unlock Akimbo for dual Jagers, which obliterate single targets and tight clusters alike. The only downside is the magazine size, but the damage output makes that trade-off an easy call.
