The Voice 2023: In Grace vs Neil Battle The Fan-Favorite is Clear

This week's episode of The Voice featuring The Knockouts Part 2 saw a lot of great matches, but probably the most epic battle was between the two Team Blake contestants, Grace West and Neil Salsich. Grace chose to perform Dolly Parton's 'Here You Come Again' and Neil went with the cover of The Doobie Brothers' 'Takin' It To the Streets.'

Blake had a hard time choosing between the two contestants, who are both undeniably great performers, but in the end, he went with the one who had the best country music vibe. And that was Grace.

'I went with Grace because she has this old-school country voice,' the mentor said. 'I think she's going to be a star in country music.'

Blake's co-mentors had a different opinion. Chance the Rapper said Neil's stage presence and energy were to die for. And Kelly Clarkson was so impressed with Nick's performance that she stole the singer, who is now going to the Playoffs as part of her team.

'I am just excited to work with Neil. He can sing anything,' Kelly said. 'I think he's easily one of the best singers in the competition.'

It looks like the mentors are split when it comes to this duo, but let's see what The Voice fans think. Who is the fan favorite in the Grace vs. Neil match? While both performances were amazing according to the fans, and this matchup as a whole was incredibly strong, Grace's tone spoke to the audience a bit more than her rival's. Neil's overall vibe, energy, and performance style are amazing, but he is no match for Grace, who is a frontrunner this season and probably deserves to be among the Top 5 singers of the entire show in terms of vocal ability.
