The Ultimate Gossip Girl Reveal: Are Dan and Serena Still Together Post-Wedding?
Here's what Penn Badgley and Blake Lively's characters have been up to all these years.
HBO's Gossip Girl reboot may have failed to live up to the quality and popularity of the original show, but longtime fans are still invested in the storyline, grateful to once again meet some of the original characters and get an update on their lives since the events of the main show.
In season two, fan-favorite villain Georgina Sparks reappeared, and it looks like her determination to ruin the lives of Dan Humphrey and Serena van der Woodsen hasn't diminished after all these years.
But while fans were horrified to learn that Georgina was still tormenting them, they were also happy to find out more about their favorite power couple's life after their wedding in the original show's finale.
While neither Badgley nor Lively appeared on camera for the reboot, fans got a chance to visit their characters' apartment, as Georgina revealed that she had made them both so paranoid that they installed cameras in their home to catch Georgina breaking in.
Obviously, given that Dan and Serena are living together, we can safely assume that they are still in love with each other, which is sure to please fans.
In addition, Serena and Dan have a child together, and this fact made fans really excited for the characters, as it proves that they were able to overcome their problems and start a real family together.
But while these updates on Dan and Serena's story have really delighted viewers, Georgina's determination to ruin their perfect life still bothers them quite a bit.
The villain even revealed that she once switched out Dan and Serena's kid's oat milk for regular milk, causing a huge health problem for the child who suffers from lactose intolerance. Yep, clearly, Georgina is still a monster.
While fans are thankful for an update on the lives of their favorite power couple, they're also glad that neither Lively nor Badgley starred in the reboot, as the show's subpar quality didn't even remotely deserve their talents.
