Chris Pratt has finally broken his silence on The Terminal List Season 2, confirming when fans can expect the high-octane series to return and offering fresh updates on the long-awaited new chapter.

All right, time for an update on The Terminal List Season 2—the show that absolutely refuses to come out on a normal schedule. Fans have been wondering when Chris Pratt is finally going to drop the next chapter of his Navy SEAL revenge saga, and he’s finally given a pretty concrete answer (well, as concrete as you ever get with big streaming shows).

When’s Season 2 Actually Arriving?

Chris Pratt just let slip on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast that Season 2 of The Terminal List is landing sometime in late 2026. He put it plainly:

'We’re done with Season 2. We’re in post right now. We’ve locked six of eight episodes.'

In other words, the whole season has already been shot—the post-production team is just finishing up the last two episodes before it’s ready to be piped into your living room.

Shooting wrapped all the way back in October 2025, after a truly international production that took the cast and crew everywhere from South Africa to Morocco (and of course, North America had to be in there). Despite all that, don’t expect to see new episodes before September or October 2026.

So, Why The Huge Delay?

You noticed, right? We’re talking about a four-year gap between Season 1 (which dropped in 2022) and this next set of episodes. That’s even longer than the gap between certain Netflix sci-fi shows that shall remain nameless. Reason? Chris Pratt has been just a little bit busy.

  • After The Terminal List went big in 2022, Pratt was everywhere—voicing Mario, wrapping up his Guardians run, doing the Garfield thing, plus shooting The Electric State.
  • To try to keep fans entertained, Amazon slotted in a spinoff prequel, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which aired and finished up in September 2025.
  • Season 2 itself started filming in spring 2025, and they only wrapped up around fall that year. If you look at how long post-production took last time (about eleven months), it all... sort of tracks.

Any Surprises or New Faces?

For those keeping score, Season 2 will again deliver eight episodes. Pratt says six are totally locked, with two more undergoing post magic. There’s also a potential for some Hollywood royalty to drop by—Pratt’s been open about wanting to get his father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger involved in the universe. He teased:

'I would love to incorporate Arnold in The Terminal List. Fans of the book will know who it is.'

Nothing official yet, but if you’ve read the source novels, you might have your own theory about which character he’s after.

What Does All This Mean?

In short: you’re waiting till late 2026 for new episodes, but they are coming. The season is shot, most episodes are finished, and barring any more Chris Pratt scheduling shenanigans, your patience will finally pay off. If Prime Video really leans in with these spinoffs and legacy cameos, this may not even be the end of the line.

So—set a reminder for ‘sometime in fall 2026,’ keep an eye on any grumpy, muscle-bound Schwarzeneggers near the set, and start bracing for what is apparently one of the longest waits in streaming TV.
