The Masked Singer Fans Already Figured Out Who Gazelle Is

Although many of our favorite shows, like Young Sheldon, won't be returning this fall season due to the writers and actors strike that has been sweeping Hollywood since May, there are still plenty of premieres to watch. Earlier this week, The Voice Season 24 premiered on NBC, wowing fans with the level of talent and the judges' chemistry. Yesterday, The Masked Singer Season 10 premiered on Fox.

The beloved celebrity singing contest made its debut on American TV in 2019, and quickly proved to be immensely popular with fans. It has since run for nine seasons, with the tenth currently airing. So far, it has featured a number of talented performers. But only Gazelle has won over viewers who seem to have figured out what celebrity might be under the mask.

Gazelle's Clues

If you're familiar with the TMS concept, you'll recall that each contestant is disguised with the help of a head-to-toe costume and gives the judges and audience several clues to help them guess who they are. As for Gazelle, her clues were as follows:

• She was on Star Search but lost,

• She co-starred in a movie with Mickey Rourke,

• She is an avid theater fan and has some experience in it as well,

• She has links to Hawaii,

• She sings but acting is her primary career.

Viewers have come up with dozens of names for the masked celebrity in question. Yet only this star checks all the boxes.

Janel Parrish

Hawaiian-born Janel Parrish has built a successful career in film, stage and TV. She has starred in the Pretty Little Liars and To All the Boys franchises. The actress also has impressive Broadway experience, having first appeared on the famous stage at the age of eight.

In 2003, Janel Parrish appeared on Star Search with a performance of On My Own. The actress has been involved in theater since her childhood. In 2018, she starred in Tiger alongside Mickey Rourke.

Most importantly, Janel is a prolific musician who has written a number of popular singles, which means she has enough vocal talent to perform as Gazelle in The Masked Singer.

Anyway, we can expect Gazelle to be one of this season's finalists, so her identity won't be revealed until then. The next episode of TMS will air on October 4 on Fox.
