The List of All the Actors Returning to AHS: Delicate After Starring in Previous Seasons
Most of the original cast's roles in Delicate are unknown.
In mere hours, American Horror Story will return to Hulu and our screens with its new season, Delicate. The season marks some important developments for the popular horror anthology series.
Due to the Hollywood strikes, the season will be split into two parts with a lengthy midseason hiatus. In addition, for the first time in the show's history, the new chilling story will be based on a novel, Danielle Valentine's Delicate Condition, and written by someone other than Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, namely new showrunner Halley Feiffer.
The upcoming season also has big-name celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Cara Delevingne joining the cast. But most importantly for many longtime fans, Delicate will mark the return of some of the beloved original cast members. Here's who we'll get to catch up with.
Emma Roberts as Anna Victoria Alcott
The main reason for any seasoned fan to celebrate is, of course, the return of Emma Roberts. She previously starred in five seasons (including the acclaimed role of witch Madison Montgomery in Coven and Apocalypse), and left the show in 2019 after 1984.
In Delicate, Roberts is set to play the titular character, an actress who is desperately trying to get pregnant but feels that some sinister forces are intervening.
Denis O'Hare
Fan-favorite actor Denis O'Hare, who starred in seven seasons of American Horror Story and appeared in the show's spinoff, is also returning to Delicate in an undisclosed role. Let's face it, whatever role O'Hare plays, there's no doubt we're going to fall in love with it from the first minute. The man is simply a fantastic actor.
Billie Lourd
For Billie Lourd, Delicate will mark her seventh appearance in Murphy and Falchuk's eerie universe, including a role on American Horror Stories. The actress first appeared in two roles on Cult and has been an integral part of the show's cast ever since.
Leslie Grossman
Like Lourd, Leslie Grossman joined the American Horror Story cast with Cult in 2017, becoming a regular. And like Lourd, her role in Delicate is still a mystery. Fans are certainly hoping to see more of these two actresses in the upcoming episodes. The show just wouldn't feel the same if they were not around.
Zachary Quinto
The beloved star of Murder House and Asylum returned to the show in the previous eleventh season – NYC to the delight of many viewers. And he is rumored to have a role in Delicate, although it is not yet clear if it will be a major role or just a brief cameo. Anyway, it will be great to see Zachary Quinto on our screens again.
