Experts say Meghan could alienate herself even further from the royal family.

The coronation of King Charles on May 6, 2023, is definitely one of the most important events in British history of the last half century, and all the important politicians of the world will be present.

Now, imagine how strange it would be if some of the King's own family members skipped such an important event?

Oops, you don't even have to imagine this because Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry's wife, announced her plans to skip the coronation and stay at home in LA to celebrate her son Archie's fourth birthday.

Fans of the royal family were immediately disappointed, arguing that Meghan could easily take Archie with her to London, as Charles would surely want to see his grandson at such an important event.

It looks like Prince Harry perfectly understands how important the coronation is for the family, and he decided to attend the ceremony without his wife and children. Meanwhile, some of the experts are sure that Meghan's decision will have some huge implications for her.

'It is good news that Harry has accepted the invite and will be there to support his father. It is the most pragmatic move in a difficult situation, and Harry has got it right. The fact his wife is not attending means it is now highly unlikely we will ever see her attend an official or Palace event again — apart from maybe the King's funeral,' royal expert Robert Jobson told The Sun.

So it seems that Meghan has finally made the decision to distance herself and her children from the royal family and may not even travel to England in the coming years.

While fans support her decision, they also fear that her skipping the coronation could cause a rift in the family, as her husband is going to attend the ceremony anyway. People really hope that Harry and Meghan won't break up over this and will have some private time to discuss their family and their royal obligations.
