Gen V Plot & First Reactions
Before they become Vought's Supes and start to 'protect' the cities from evil, the super-powered individuals given Compound V as children go through various programs at Godolkin University.
The events of the spinoff unfold at the same time as those of the upcoming fourth season of The Boys, with the series following a group of Godolkin University students who discover and start investigating a huge conspiracy going on under their noses.
The first three episodes have been well-received by critics and viewers alike. As in The Boys, the story is exciting and features lots of gore and graphic scenes, while the characters are well-developed and have the requisite tragic backstories and ambiguous morals.
Since the plot deals with young adults, Gen V takes viewers to a previously unseen world of supes not yet corrupted by their superpowers. There's no doubt we're in for an exciting ride in the coming episodes. We'll probably be learning a lot about how power, fame, and corruption can twist and mangle even the strongest moral compass beyond all recognition.
