For nearly 13 years now, CBS' iconic police procedural drama Blue Bloods has delighted fans by delving deeper and deeper into the story of the Reagans — a New York family that has worked in law enforcement for generations.
Gearing up for a 14th season, Blue Bloods boasts quite a significant number of guest stars who have appeared in episodes of the series in one capacity or another. Let's check out the most famous cameos from the fan-favorite show — can you remember all 10 of them?
10. Lou Diamond Phillips
Lou Diamond Phillips rose to fame in Hollywood in the 80s and 90s, first establishing himself as a major actor by playing musician Ritchie Valens in 1987's La Bamba. On television, he is remembered by many for the series Longmire.
In the ninth season of Blue Bloods, the actor played Louis Delgado, a cartel member who Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) thought had killed his wife. But in reality, the killer turned out to be a character we'll also mention in this list.
9. Tovah Feldshuh
Tovah Feldshuh is known for her roles in theatrical productions including Irena's Vow, Pippin, and Funny Girl. The actress also appeared in a number of popular TV shows, including Law & Order, where she portrayed attorney Danielle Melnick, and The Walking Dead, where she played Deanna Monroe.
In Blue Bloods, Feldshuh guest-starred in the Season 5 episode 'Bad Company,' playing the love interest of Henry, the father of family patriarch Frank Reagan. In the end, her character turned out to be a fugitive who manipulated the elderly.
8. Treat Williams
Treat Williams is probably best known for the 1979 anti-war musical Hair and his role as Andy Brown on the TV series Everwood.
His character on Blue Bloods, Lenny Ross, was a troublemaker, but also a loyal friend to Frank, with whom they once worked together on the NYPD.
7. Bobby Cannavale
Bobby Cannavale starred in popular TV shows, including Third Watch, Will & Grace, and Boardwalk Empire, as well as a few dramatic feature films, and has even joined the MCU.
He played Erin Reagan's boss, Charles Rossellini, who was the District Attorney of New York County in the first season of Blue Bloods. Rossellini was introduced to the show as a romantic interest for Erin, but their relationship never continued after his failure in the New York City mayoral election, after which he disappeared from the story.
6. Dylan Walsh
Dylan Walsh, best known for his role as Dr. Sean McNamara on the iconic medical drama Nip/Tuck, popped up in Season 10 as New York City's new mayor, Peter Chase, who often clashed with Frank because of his differing views from the old Commish.
5. Victor Garber
Victor Garber is a multi-talented actor from Canada who has made a name for himself on the stages of Broadway and on the big and small screen. He is the recipient of many prestigious awards including Gemini, Tony, and Emmy.

4. Ed Asner
Ed Asner was a true acting legend, active from the second half of the 20th century up until his death in 2021. Widely known for his iconic role as Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spin-off series, Asner also served as president of the SAG union.
On Blue Bloods, he appeared in Season 10 as Chuck Kennedy, an old friend of Frank's who was confined to a wheelchair and subjected to a home invasion.

Michael Imperioli became famous for his roles in Goodfellas and The Sopranos. Another wave of love for the actor came after his participation in the second season of The White Lotus.
Imperioli played manipulative New York Attorney General Robert Lewis first in Season 7 and then in Season 11 of Blue Bloods.
2. Danny Trejo
Do we need to introduce Danny Trejo? Everyone knows and loves him for his roles in From Dusk Till Dawn, Spy Kids, and Machete. The Mexican-American actor often plays cruel and ruthless villains with hot blood and cold eyes, and that's also his character in Blue Bloods.
In Season 9 of the show, Trejo portrayed cartel member Jose Rojas, the violent man responsible for the death of Danny's wife.
1. Whoopi Goldberg
Perhaps the most unexpected guest role was that of New York City Council Speaker Regina Thomas, played by Whoopi Goldberg herself! Her character appeared in Seasons 6, 8 and 11, where she often argued with Frank about possible changes, and Frank became more open to innovation.
