Tell Me Lies Season 3: Hulu Episode Count Revealed
Hulu’s Tell Me Lies is back January 13, 2026, with an eight-episode Season 3, the Meaghan Oppenheimer adaptation of Carola Lovering’s novel holding a 75 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.
Hulu is bringing back its messiest romance. Tell Me Lies returns for Season 3 on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, and yes, it drops with a two-episode premiere. If you have been waiting to see the fallout from that wedding-day bomb, you will not be waiting much longer.
Quick refresher
Based on Carola Lovering's 2018 novel, Tell Me Lies tracks the kind of intense, toxic relationship that lingers for years. Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco circle each other across eight years, pulling friends into the undertow. The series launched in 2022, picked up steam, and was renewed for a third season shortly after Season 2 wrapped. It currently sits at 75% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Season 3 release plan
This season runs eight episodes, roughly 45 to 55 minutes each. The first two hit on January 13, then it is one episode every Tuesday through the finale on February 24, 2026. Episode 1 is titled "You F**ked it, Friend" because subtlety has never been this show's thing.
- Episode 1: "You F**ked it, Friend" - January 13, 2026
- Episode 2: TBA - January 13, 2026
- Episode 3: TBA - January 20, 2026
- Episode 4: TBA - January 27, 2026
- Episode 5: TBA - February 3, 2026
- Episode 6: TBA - February 10, 2026

Where Season 2 left everyone
Season 2 ended with Stephen doing what Stephen does best: lighting a match. Moments before Evan was supposed to marry Bree, Stephen told him that Evan had cheated on Bree with Lucy. So, when Season 3 opens, expect a hard pivot from wedding playlist to damage control.
Who is behind it
Creator Meaghan Oppenheimer is back steering Season 3. Emma Roberts executive produces alongside Mathew Hart, Jessica Badenoch, Gillian Bohrer, and Victoria Bata. Jackson White and Grace Van Patten continue to lead as Stephen and Lucy.
How to watch
Season 3 streams on Hulu. You can watch with any plan: Hulu With Ads at 11.99 per month or 119.99 per year, a student tier at 1.99 per month, or the ad-free plan at 18.99 per month. Optional add-ons are available at an extra monthly cost, with listed price points at 6.99 and 9.99 per month. Seasons 1 and 2 are already on Hulu if you need to catch up (or re-open old wounds). A Season 3 trailer is out now.
