Ted Lasso Season 3: Here's How Many Episodes Left (When Will Finale Air?)
All evidence points to Season 3 being the finale of the beloved Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, and fans are clamoring to find out how it ends.
Airing each Wednesday on Apple TV+, the series follows a former college football coach from Kansas taking his skills across the pond to coach professional soccer. By Season 3, the entire thing has become far more complex. With only a handful of episodes remaining, fans will start to see dominos beginning to fall.
After a devastating divorce, which brought him to England in the first place, Ted found out in Season 3 that his wife is now dating their former marriage counselor. Last we saw in Episode 5, he voiced his frustration to her and she left the audience with a subtle smirk after their call ended.
Roy and Keeley are no more. A few signs pointed to the inevitability of them getting back together. Some pointed to her pursuing Jamie again and creating a dramatic love triangle. Then the show flipped everything on its head by having her hook up with her female boss Jack - something no one saw coming.
Rebecca and Sam are still broken up. She pursued the help of a psychic to deal with her issues, leading to a reinvigorated hope to one day have a family.
There's drama galore amongst the players and personnel of AFC Richmond - and that's all before even mentioning the team's play.
After a rough start to the season, Rebecca miraculously signed soccer legend Zava. He single-handedly carried them on a winning streak before another collapse ensued. Not long after Richmond turned their game against West Ham (now coached by their former kit man Nate) into a slugfest, he retired mid-season - leaving his team devastated.
Ted Lasso writers Brett Goldstein and Brendan Hunt (who also play Roy and Coach Beard) have said that Ted Lasso has always had a three-season arc. They haven't planned for anything beyond that.
And that means the show needs to find a satisfying conclusion to each of these dramatic storylines by the end of Season 3.
Episode 6 will air next Wednesday on Apple TV+. Titled 'Sunflowers,' the episode will follow the team playing a friendly match in Amsterdam before having a night out that 'unlocks truths for many.'
There are only twelve episodes announced for Season 3, meaning the finale will air on May 31 - just seven weeks away.
