The pop star continues to excel in her career, even if her personal life is a bit of a mess right now.

Earlier this year, Taylor Swift kicked off her Eras stadium tour, which is already shaping up to be one of the most lucrative and popular female-led tours of all time. But while Swift's career is at an unprecedented high this year, news of Swift's split from actor Joe Alwyn recently shocked her fans and left them worried about the star.

However, despite the upsetting news, it looks like Taylor is doing just fine, continuing her tour and aiming to break a major record by the end of the year.

While Swift's singles are known for their expressive power and immense popularity, her album tracks are just as popular, with some fans even arguing that the star can release all of her songs as singles because they are of such impeccable quality. And it seems that Swift will prove this notion right by the end of the year, as her song 'Cruel Summer' is poised to dethrone Olivia Rodrigo's 'Happier' as the most streamed album track in history.

Rodrigo's song currently sits at an impressive 952 million streams, while 'Cruel Summer' is a bit behind with 944 million streams. While eight million is not a small number, fans are sure that Swift will quickly surpass Rodrigo, who is already losing popularity.

Many were shocked when it was announced that 'Cruel Summer' would not be released as a single, so now fans are really happy that the song is getting the recognition it deserved all along.

'Cruel Summer' is a clear fan favorite and can become even more popular than it is now if the singer's producers decide to release it as a single. And this is more likely to happen if the song does break the record at some point this year.

'I just can't figure out why they didn't push this one. There are other 'non-single singles' or 'fan singles,' but this one conventionally and otherwise has all the makings of a hit and goes beyond even that!' one fan argued.

Maybe Swift should listen to her fan base and put extra effort into promoting 'Cruel Summer' so that it breaks the one-billion stream mark, as it certainly has the potential to do that.
