As Jaime said, 'the era of alliances is over.'

Survivor 44 is fast approaching the finale, which means the tension is building, the survivors' scheming becomes more cunning, and everyone's position is more precarious. And with the departure of one of the remaining castaways, the risk of being framed increases.

The last vote was both obvious and unexpected. Five people voted against Frannie Marin, including her fellow Soka tribe member Danny. From now on, there is no communal feeling within the tribes, as everyone has started to look out for themselves first. So who will emerge victorious?

7. Jaime

Jaime has established herself as a devious contestant, but after weeks of feeling secure because of the idol, the castaway has now lost her safety. Though she told the truth in the last episode about her (fake) idol taken by Kane, no one believed her, so she was second to Frannie as a possible target for elimination.

6. Lauren

Lauren is no less cunning than Jaime. She was incredibly grateful to Frannie for bringing her to the sanctuary and even formed an alliance with her against Danny. But she turned her back on Frannie as soon as Danny proposed his own plan. Given her lack of airtime, it is quite possible that Lauren will be a target next time.

5. Heidi

Heidi is the main dark horse of the season. She tries to keep a low profile but participates in intrigues and is always willing to go against her tribemates. This was well understood by both Carolyn and Frannie, who voted against her and tried to convince others to do the same.

4. Yam Yam

Yam Yam has also established himself as a strong social player, capable of favoring one survivor or another over time. He also plotted against Frannie, but as a result of the intrigue, he lost Carolyn's trust.

Now, even though the Tika is the most numerous tribe, it is possible that the opponents (as well as fellow tribemates Carolyn and Carson) will turn against him.

3. Danny

Danny has been the boldest player on the show so far, unafraid to speak out against certain contestants. This makes him both a great ally and one of the main targets for elimination.

2. Carson

Carson is the main mastermind and therefore the most dangerous player, easier to ally with than to play against. He is also immune for the near future after the last challenge. Still, knowing all this, the remaining players may well turn against him — including Carolyn, whose trust Carson seems to have betrayed.

1. Carolyn

But having allies is still the key to survival, and that's exactly what Carolyn relies on, getting close to Carson and, in the previous episode, Frannie. Although the latter has become a target for the other contestants, Carolyn has managed to avoid making enemies.

The next episode of Survivor 44 will be released on May 10.
