The best episode so far. The tribe has spoken.

Long story short, the new episode of Survivor 44 was the best of the entire season! The challenges, the drama, the jokes, the twists, and even (finally) the editing — everything about this episode was excellent, leaving fans absolutely satisfied and hoping that the season's last two episodes will be just as great.

Episode 11, titled 'I'm Not Worthy,' showed just how vibrant each of the remaining seven contestants are. And it wasn't only about their participation in the challenges, as the episode also featured a few out-of-the-game activities that allowed us to bond with these entertaining survivors.

Perhaps the best place to start is the meditation sequence. Jaime organized a mini-retreat on the coastline to which all the other survivors were invited. You might think that this activity had no purpose for the show other than to fill time — but in fact, scenes like this create the perfect balance between drama and action, giving the audience a peek into the players' personalities and emotional lives.

It was the moment when the survivors realized how close they'd become to each other over the course of the competition. No one is willing to stab a friend in the back — but the show must go on, and someone will have to be eliminated, while others will go on to fight for the title of sole survivor.

Next up, Last Gasp — Survivor's recurring challenge, and one of the most brutal ones on the show! Holding on to a steel grate, the contestants were beaten by the waves, trying to cope with the lack of oxygen and hypothermia. Heidi and Yam Yam were the last two players in the challenge, and Yam Yam's win took viewers by surprise.

'I have to admit, I did not [expect] Yam Yam to have such great lung capacity,' one of the fans noted on Reddit.

The intrigues were another highlight of the episode, and Carolyn was the most astute contestant this time. Of course, she scolded Carson and Yam Yam for betraying her in the last episode, but she still decided to stick with the team — and that's what saved the Tika tribe from elimination.

'She's a drug counselor, she's probably an expert at knowing [misinformation] when she hears it,' another fan pointed out, referring to the situation where Danny lied to to Carolyn about wanting to eliminate Jaime or Lauren, while he conspired with the other non-Tika members to vote for Carson. Carolyn did not buy it — and that decision proved right.

In the end, Danny himself was eliminated as all three Tikas voted him out. However, he didn't seem upset and decided to entertain everyone by showing his 'Bobby De Niro face.' His impression was hilarious, and that was also a perfect ending to the best episode of the season so far!

Now that Carolyn has lost her idol, it looks like she will be the main target in the upcoming episode, which airs on May 17.
