Grinding XP in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies doesn’t have to be a slog—use these rapid-fire strategies to unlock better gear, rack up rewards, and dominate the undead in a fraction of the time.

If you want to race up the ladder in Black Ops 7 Zombies, you need good routes, not good intentions. The XP grind gets real slow if you just wing it. The three setups below are fast, simple once you learn the spots, and sneaky-efficient about farming headshots and rounds without getting shredded. None of this is fully AFK, but you’ll level way faster and unlock gear without losing your evening to one ugly run.

The quick win: 3 fast XP routes that actually work

  1. Vandorn Farm - Survival house headshot funnel
Vandorn Farm looks spacious until you start playing. It’s compact and chokey, which is perfect for corralling zombies on your terms. Head to the house on the northwest corner of the farm. Go upstairs to the second floor where the Der Wunderfizz machine sits. There’s a big break in the wall right next to it. Plant yourself at the corner of that opening, right near the edge, and keep your aim held slightly to the left. Zombies spawn below, leap up into that window line, and walk right into your crosshair. It’s basically a headshot conveyor belt. Not a true AFK cheese, but you’ll stack XP fast thanks to the constant headshots plus the steady round progression.
  2. Vandorn Farm - Akita and Toxic Growth barn hold
This one’s more loadout-dependent, but it’s dead simple once you set it up. You need the Akita full-auto shotgun and the Toxic Growth Field Upgrade. Load into Vandorn Farm Survival and head to the barn on the southeast side of the map. Go to the back of the room on the top floor, right by the Pack-A-Punch machine, and camp there. Drop two Toxic Growth charges out front to layer slow and damage on anything pushing your position. Then let the Akita rip. The vines soften and stall the horde, the shotgun cleans up, and your XP meter climbs. Run this comfortably into the mid-30s, then reset to keep the pace efficient. You can throw in GobbleGums to speed things up, but you don’t need them to make this work. If the pressure spikes late, call it around Round 34-36 and restart the loop.
  3. Ashes of the Damned - hay bale camp by Blackwater Lake
Before you hop in, make sure you’re perked up and carrying a weapon that actually scales. Also, install Pack-A-Punch on Tessie, your truck, so you’re not playing catch-up mid-run. Drive to the Blackwater Lake cabins. On the right-hand corner there’s a block of hay you can mantle onto. Park yourself on top and stay there. From that elevated angle, zombies pour in from one direction, which makes headshots easy and your life expectancy nicer than it should be. It’s a lazy, reliable XP farm and, bonus, it’s an easy place to grind Mastery Camos while you’re at it.

These routes were popularized by YouTuber Ch0pper, who has a good eye for spots that look janky but work beautifully once you see the angles.

Why these work

All three setups force zombies into predictable lanes, which turns your aim into a metronome: low effort, high return. The Vandorn house window is basically an auto-headshot drill. The barn hold adds Toxic Growth for free damage and crowd control so your Akita can farm safely. The hay bale camp on Ashes of the Damned gives you sightline advantage with minimal flank risk. None of it is glamorous, but it is efficient.
