She Played Stephanie on TBBT; See Sara Rue's Stunning Transformation at 44

Appearing on The Big Bang Theory in 2008, Sara Rue is hardly ever remembered by the show's fans these days. One of the large cast of actors, she played Dr. Stephanie Barnett in three consecutive episodes of TBBT's Season 2. Take a look at her now, 15 years later!
Sara Rue is off the Hollywood radar at the moment as she has decided to devote herself to her family. The actress is in her second marriage — she tied the knot with Kevin Price, a teacher, in 2011 after her divorce from filmmaker Mischa Livingstone in 2007. Rue and Price have two daughters together.
Despite the current hiatus, Sara Rue's career is already extensive, spanning some 35 years. Born to Broadway parents in 1979, the actress is the eldest of two children. She began her acting career at nine when she was cast in the 1988 drama film Rocket Gibraltar.
The actress appeared in quite a number of movies and TV shows, including Two and a Half Men by The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lorre. Apart from that, she also starred in the comedy show Less than Perfect that featured Zachary Levi, whom you most probably know as Shazam from Marvel's eponymous movie installment.
In TBBT, Sara Rue portrayed one of Leonard's girlfriends in Episodes 8, 9, and 10 of Season 2. That relationship ended as drastically quickly as it had started, and Rue's character never reappeared in the sitcom again.
After starring in TBBT, Sara has made appearances on numerous TV shows, starring and guest starring in such big projects as Eastwick, Malibu Country, Bones, American Housewife, The Rookie, as well as Chuck Lorre's Mom and B Positive.
The actress also played Elen in American Pie Presents: Girls' Rules, the ninth installment of the franchise, released in 2020.
Sara Rue turned 44 at the beginning of 2023, and it looks like she is totally enjoying her brief hiatus from film and TV work. Rue's fans say she looks simply amazing, and we absolutely agree and hope that the star will return to acting at some point in the future, giving us more memorable performances.
