Aarti Mann is one of the many actors who appeared on The Big Bang Theory during its twelve-season run. Here she is, twelve years after portraying Priya on the show.

Aarti Mann is thriving in Hollywood, where she lives with her husband Purvesh Mankad, Chief Financial Officer of Cover Technologies, and their daughter Nikita.

Since her appearance on TBBT, she has participated in various projects, notably several high-quality drama TV shows, and directed a couple of films, one of which is still in post-production.

The actress's career path has been quite unconventional. Born to Indian parents who had moved to the US, she grew up primarily in Pittsburgh, where she finished high school.

Interestingly, Aarti initially studied film directing at New York University before deciding to step in front of the camera rather than remain behind it.

After graduating, Aarti pursued her acting career, appearing in a nationwide Volvo commercial. In 2006, she secured a supporting role in The Memsahib, a film featuring two interracial couples from the nineteenth century and the present.

Before TBBT, Aarti Mann appeared in several films and various TV shows, including the superhero series Heroes in 2009 and the classic soap opera The Young and the Restless in 2010.

On The Big Bang Theory, she portrayed Priya Koothrappali, Raj’s sister and Leonard's girlfriend, with whom he had an on-again-off-again relationship throughout the sitcom's fourth season.

Aarti made several appearances in season 5 via video calls as Leonard and Priya attempted to maintain a long-distance relationship. However, her character eventually faded from the show.

After TBBT, Aarti Mann secured guest roles on major drama series such as Leverage, Scandal, Suits, NCIS: New Orleans, Grey's Anatomy, All Rise, and The Good Doctor. She also stars in the upcoming film The Donor Party, set to be released in 2023.

Having recently turned forty-five, Aarti Mann enjoys a happy marriage (her stage name is derived from her husband's last name) and has a daughter. Fortunately, she has maintained a reasonably successful acting career, so you will probably have seen her in various TV shows since TBBT.
