Sasha Colby Winning S15E14 Challenge Has All RuPaul Fans Saying One Thing
It looks like the fans are pretty sure which queen will take home the trophy.
RuPaul's Drag Race's move to MTV for this season was a questionable decision to say the least, as the shorter episodes prevented viewers from getting to know the queens better. And it's a shame because this season's contestants are some of the most exciting in the show's history — Anetra, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, and Sasha Colby have already become household names.
But only one queen can call herself the winner of season 15, and people are sure that Sasha will claim that title in the coming weeks. Here's why.
Even before her actual appearance on Drag Race, Sasha cast a huge shadow over the previous seasons as many other queens mentioned her as one of the greatest drag queens of her generation.
And when Sasha finally presented herself to the audience this season, she carefully and painstakingly proved that she was worthy of being called the best. The queen had already won three Maxi Challenges prior to episode 14, and her triumph in filming a space-themed video for RuPaul's song in the recently released episode only reaffirmed fans' certainty that she will win this season.
People are already joking that the entire 15th season was just a promo campaign for Sasha, as other queens, including strong players like Anetra and Mistress Isabelle Brooks, never really stood a chance against her.
Some viewers even began to ironically refer to season 15 as Sasha Colby's meet-and-greet, as both fans and judges are so enamored with her, they simply can't pay attention to the other contestants.
Fans argue that the other drag queens will be completely fine with Sasha taking home the crown, as her dedication to the craft and huge influence on today's drag culture certainly deems her worthy of such an honor.
And though it may feel a bit underwhelming that the frontrunner wins the competition while other talented performers remain mostly in the shadows, Sasha has definitely proven all of her talents in front of the camera.
RuPaul's Drag Race Season 15 Episode 15 will air on MTV on April 7, while Episode 16 is scheduled to premiere on April 14.
