Republic Pictures drops the trailer for One Mile, a two-part survival thriller led by Ryan Phillippe (Shooter). Both chapters hit digital to rent or own February 20, 2026, as a former special forces operative fights to reconnect—and survive.

Ryan Phillippe is back in action mode with One Mile, a two-part survival thriller that just dropped its first trailer. Both chapters arrive at the same time on digital to rent or own on February 20, 2026. Bold release strategy. I like it.

The setup

Phillippe plays Danny, a former special forces operative trying to make up ground with his teenage daughter on a college road trip. A wrong turn funnels them into a secretive, off-the-grid community, and the reunion plan flips into a rescue mission when his daughter is abducted. From there, it is all forward motion: track, infiltrate, dismantle, repeat.

"Alone and outnumbered, he is forced to use every skill he has to track them down, take them apart, and bring his daughter home."

What the trailer shows

The footage leans hard into father-daughter miles-of-highway quiet before slamming into a backwoods compound that does not welcome visitors. Danny shifts from dad mode to surgical problem-solver fast: close-quarters fights, stealthy breaks, and a lot of 'you picked the wrong family' energy. The two-part structure sets up a first chapter that lights the fuse and a second that widens the hunt. The tease hints at a return to a place he has dealt with before, only this time the enemy is waiting for him.

"A former special forces operative is forced back onto a remote island when the violent, secretive community he fought once before abducts his daughter in an act of revenge."

Release plan

Chapter One and Chapter Two land together on February 20, 2026, available simultaneously to rent or buy on digital. Trailer courtesy of Republic Pictures.

Two chapters dropping at once screams weekend binge: one setup, one payback. The trailer sells lean, mean momentum, and Phillippe looks locked in for a bruiser of a rescue run.
