Remember Chandler's Hot Mom? Friends Star is Still Gorgeous at 73
Would Ross kiss her back?
After premiering in 1994, Friends quickly became a worldwide sensation, instantly turning its main cast into major stars. While some actors' popularity has faded over the years, the name of at least one original cast member is still on everyone's lips — Jennifer Aniston is continuing to star in successful movies and TV series, soon appearing in Season 3 of Apple TV's The Morning Show.
However, aside from the main cast, the cult sitcom also starred many prominent TV actors and actresses. Morgan Fairchild, for instance, has been a star for quite some time before she appeared on Friends as Chandler's eccentric mother Nora Tyler Bing. While she's only featured in five episodes of the 10-season show, fans will never forget the surprise kiss Nora gave to Ross.
Prior to Friends, Morgan Fairchild starred in Search for Tomorrow, Flamingo Road, and Falcon Crest and appeared on CBS's hit soap opera Dallas and ABC's sitcom Roseanne, among her other episodic roles. The actress also had roles in numerous movies, including 1982's The Seduction.
When Fairchild agreed to play Chandler's mother on Friends, she was only 45, meaning that the age gap between her and Matthew Perry, who portrayed Chandler, was only 19 years (and 16 years between her and David Schwimmer's Ross, in case you wondered). And of course, the actress was plain gorgeous, so we can't really blame Ross for kissing her back!
Now, almost 30 years after starring in Friends, Morgan Fairchild is still a beauty at her 73 — in fact, it looks like the actress hasn't changed one bit since her appearance on the sitcom.
Over the years, Fairchild has had more roles in popular TV shows, such as Two and a Half Men, Hot in Cleveland, and Bones. Most recently, she starred in the upcoming comedy movie, titled The Nana Project, alongside Modern Family's Nolan Gould and made several guest appearances on General Hospital in 2022 and 2023 as Haven de Havilland.
As for her personal life, the actress has been in a long-term relationship with businessman Mark Seiler since 1980. She is also a social rights activist and supporter of environmental problems.
