CBS' The Big Bang Theory centers around a group of socially inept scientists, who all have distinct personalities and differ from each other in the level of their awkwardness. Arguably, the most insecure of the four nerds is Raj, whose lack of social skills often prompts him to act weirdly and even do some nasty things.

Here are five most heinous wrongdoings of Raj's on The Big Bang Theory.

5. Hitting on Bernadette

Raj was pretty much unable to converse with women early in the show, but that didn't stop him from developing an interest in his best friend's girlfriend, Bernadette. In Episode 14, Season 4, Raj is shown fantasizing about Howard leaving the country and asking him to 'satisfy Bernadette's needs.'

Luckily, nothing happens between the two, but fans were still disturbed by Raj's fantasies and how they undermined his and Howard's bromance.

4. Sleeping with Penny

Although Penny and Leonard got married by the end of the show, they had a rather complicated relationship in earlier seasons. The two started dating in Season 3 only to split in Season 4, when Leonard was dating Raj's sister Priya, and Penny… well, she happened to have a one-night stand with Raj (except that he ejaculated prematurely, so the two didn't technically have sex).

Of course, sleeping with Penny was not Raj's fault exclusively, but fans believe that still wasn't a nice thing to do.

3. The Wolowitz Baby's Gender

In Episode 4, Season 10, Raj infuriated viewers with his disrespect for Howard and Bernadette's wish to keep their baby's sex secret until he or she arrives. Peeking into the baby's medical folder at hospital, Rag effectively broke the law, breached Bernadette and Howard's privacy, and compromised their friendship.

2. Juggling Two Girlfriends

Despite having little luck with women in earlier seasons, Raj manages to build a long-term relationship with Emily in Season 7. He breaks up with her in Season 9 to pursue his new flame, Claire, but later restores his relationship with Emily, continuing to date both women at the same time.

1. The Cleaning Lady Lie

In Episode 8, Season 10, Raj gets close with Issabella, a cleaning lady at work, and develops feelings for her even though he is embarrassed to admit it. Raj is actually so uncomfortable about his love interest's job that he lies to his friends, saying that his new flame is an astronomer at Caltech. Naturally, his lie is exposed, and Raj and Issabella break up off-screen by Episode 14 of the same season.
