Peacock’s Must-See Week: Every New Show and Movie Arriving September 22–28, 2025

Peacock loads up September 22–28 with tentpoles: Brilliant Minds Season 2 lands September 23, one day after its NBC debut, joining Law & Order Season 25 and M3GAN 2.0.
Peacock is loading up this week with a little bit of everything: a returning medical puzzle-box, a 25th season of gavel-banging, a killer doll upgrade, and one of M. Night Shyamalan's tenser home-invasion thrillers. Plus, a fresh wave of NBC premieres and a couple finales rolling into next-day streaming.
The big swings
'Brilliant Minds' Season 2 drops on Peacock Tuesday, September 23. The show is still anchored by Zachary Quinto as Dr. Oliver Wolf, a gifted neurologist who also has face blindness, which is both his superpower and his daily headache. Wolf's knack for reading everything but faces gives him an edge on the trickiest cases, and he leans on a squad of young interns to chase down solutions. The ensemble includes Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, and Aury Krebs, among others.
Inside baseball note: Peacock positions this as arriving one day after its NBC premiere, but the weekly grid also lists the NBC Season 2 premiere on Tuesday the 23rd. Translation: expect the typical next-day drop after it airs, but either way, look for it on Peacock September 23.
'Law & Order' Season 25 arrives Friday, September 26 with a new run of cases. Cast-wise, the mothership lineup features Reid Scott, Maura Tierney, Tony Goldwyn, Hugh Dancy, and Odelya Halevi. And yes, SVU is right there with it: 'Law & Order: SVU' Season 27 also premieres the same day. Two shows, same universe, plenty of bad decisions made by fictional New Yorkers.
'M3GAN 2.0' also hits Friday, September 26, continuing the very 2020s tradition of 'what if the AI learned too much.' This time, the tech behind M3GAN gets swiped by a defense contractor, who spins it into a military-grade weapon named Amelia. That goes exactly how you think it goes. So Gemma — the original creator who shut M3GAN down last time — decides to bring her homicidal doll back online to deal with the new threat. It is both escalation and, frankly, exactly the sequel energy you expect.
'Knock at the Cabin' lands Wednesday, September 24. It's Shyamalan in doomsday mode: a young girl and her two dads are taken hostage by four strangers who insist the family must make an impossible choice to stop an apocalypse. It's an apocalyptic psychological horror, which is a mouthful, but it gets the job done.
Also worth flagging
On the variety side, NBC is rolling back into regular-season shape, which means next-day Peacock drops for late night and talent shows. Season 13 premieres for both 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' and 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' hit this week, 'The Voice' kicks off Season 28, and 'America's Got Talent' crowns its Season 20 winner on Thursday. Over on Bravo Digital, 'The Real Housewives of Miami After Show' wraps its first season on Friday.
