Peacock packs October 6-12 with headline arrivals: on Thursday, October 9, The Bikeriders, O’ahu Shores, and Season 2 of Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue drop, with How to Train Your Dragon swooping onto the lineup.

Peacock is doing the buffet thing this week: bikes, beaches, bots, and a Viking with a pet dragon. If you want something new to binge, skim the highlights below, then hop to the full day-by-day list.

The highlights

Thursday is the big drop with three very different premieres landing at once:

The Bikeriders – Jeff Nichols slides in with a bruised-knuckle crime drama starring Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, and Tom Hardy. Comer plays Kathy, a sharp, stubborn woman drawn to Benny, a rider in the Vandals motorcycle club. As the club tips from cool hangout to violent mess, Benny has to pick a side: the gang that made him or the woman who might save him. If you like moody Americana where choices have consequences, this is your stop.

O'ahu Shores – Docuseries time. Eight young Hawaiians try to figure out adulthood without losing the culture that shaped them. The cast: Skye Baker, Alex Fowler, Kaui Goodness, Marcus Hee, Rachael Peterson, Kamalani Pico, Keolu Ramos, and Raven Wood. It looks like a mix of real-life stakes and island pride, which is rarer than it should be in shows set in Hawaii.

Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue (Season 2) – For the kids (or the kid who controls the remote), four animal-obsessed besties use their tech skills to build giant animal-inspired robots and help creatures in trouble. It is exactly what it sounds like, and yes, Season 2 is here.

Friday brings the big curiosity play:

How to Train Your Dragon – The live-action remake of the 2010 hit flies onto Peacock. Back to Berk we go: Hiccup, the chief's outcast son, dreams of being a dragon slayer… until he meets a Night Fury he names Toothless and everything changes. If you grew up on the original, this is the one you watch just to see how the dragon-human chemistry translates with real actors and a lot of VFX.

And earlier in the week:

Of An Age – On Tuesday, Goran Stolevski's romantic drama lands. It tracks a complicated, intense spark between a Serbian ballroom dancer (Elias Anton) and the older brother (Thom Green) of his friend and fellow dancer (Hattie Hook). It is small-scale and intimate in the best way.
