Peacock’s Can’t-Miss Week: Every New Show and Movie Arriving November 17–23, 2025
Peacock shifts into high gear Nov. 17–23 with Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks, a three-part dive into the culture and history of Universal destinations dropping Nov. 17, alongside the feature A Thousand and One.
Peacock is loading up the week of November 17-23 with a theme-park deep dive, an indie that actually earned its emotions, and a grab bag of comfort TV and big, loud movies. It is a very specific mix, and I kind of love that for them.
The highlights
First up: all three episodes of Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks hit on Monday, November 17. It is a three-part, hourlong-per-episode docuseries about the culture and history of Universal Destinations & Experiences — basically, Universal's theme parks division, from the mythmaking to the mechanical guts. If you are into rides, parks, or corporate creativity wars, this one is squarely in your lane.
On Wednesday, November 19, A Thousand and One lands on Peacock. Written and directed by A.V. Rockwell and set in mid-90s New York, it follows Inez (Teyana Taylor), who bounces between shelters and decides the system has failed her family one too many times. She kidnaps her son, Terry, out of foster care to build a life on their own terms. Years go by, their world expands, and the secret that made it all possible starts knocking. It is a crime drama, but really it is about survival, choices, and the bill coming due.
Also worth flagging: all four seasons of The Good Place arrive Monday. If you somehow missed it, it is the afterlife comedy where Eleanor Shellstrop realizes she was not exactly a model citizen while alive and tries to improve — while also hiding some very obvious flaws. On Thursday, all four Expendables movies drop (The Expendables through The Expend4bles). That is your mercenary-all-star team doing dangerous jobs, blowing things up, and trying not to sprain a shoulder while doing it.
