Paramount Plus packs the week of December 8–14 with fresh arrivals, led by the tense new drama Little Disasters dropping Thursday, December 11, and the Season 2 return of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Paramount Plus is going full variety pack this week: a heavy doc about a controversial TV phenomenon, a thorny hospital drama, pizza-powered turtles back in action, and an awards show built for the family crowd. Here’s what’s actually worth knowing and when it lands.

This week on Paramount Plus (Dec 8-14, 2025)

Predators (documentary) — Monday, Dec 8

Despite the title, no, this isn’t about wildlife. Director David Osit digs into the messy legacy of NBC’s To Catch a Predator — the sting-operation reality show that lured would-be offenders to a house where they were confronted on camera. The doc pulls from interviews with people who posed as decoys, plus clips and never-before-seen raw footage from the original series. Chris Hansen sits for an interview, and there’s archival reaction from Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel, and Oprah Winfrey, who all helped cement the show’s pop-culture footprint back in the day. It’s a complicated subject, and the movie seems interested in that complexity rather than just nostalgia.

Little Disasters (limited series) — Thursday, Dec 11

New drama alert. Jess shows up at a hospital with her baby after an unexplained head injury, which is already a nightmare scenario. It gets worse fast: her close friend Liz, who works there as an A&E (ER) doctor, reports the incident to social services. The fallout looks messy, personal, and very not simple — the kind of premise that lives and dies on the performances and the moral gray areas.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — Season 2 — Friday, Dec 12

The animated spin-off of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is back. The hook remains the same and still fun: the brothers juggle actual teenage life with nightly crimefighting in New York City. Expect the usual mix of humor, ninja chaos, and under-the-hood lore for fans who like the deeper stuff.

Family Film and TV Awards — Saturday, Dec 13

An awards show focused on family-friendly projects, hosted by Big Brother mainstay Julie Chen Moonves. Nominees include a wild cross-section: Happy Gilmore 2, The Karate Kid, Abbott Elementary, and Stranger Things are all in the mix. If your household needs something everyone can watch without a debate breaking out, this is basically engineered for that.
