One-Punch Man Season 3 Premiere: Exactly When Episode 1 Hits Hulu, Disney Plus, and Crunchyroll

One-Punch Man season 3 is splintered across multiple streamers, making the premiere a moving target. Here’s when and where to watch episode 1.
One-Punch Man season 3 is finally landing this fall, and of course its release plan is a little messy. After years of waiting for Saitama to wander back in and end fights in a single swipe, we now get a split-platform rollout and a premiere date that may or may not be a recap. Fun!
So, when does episode 1 actually drop?
Short answer: October 5 is the date to watch, but the exact minute is squishy. The Japan broadcast is set for 23:45 JST, and the international streams usually follow about 1–2 hours later. That puts the expected windows here:
- US: Hulu (also accessible via Disney+ bundles) is aiming for after about 7:45 AM PT / 10:45 AM ET on Saturday, October 5. Timing may shift.
- UK: Crunchyroll is targeting around 3:45 PM BST on October 5.
- Europe and most of the world: Crunchyroll will carry new episodes in roughly the same timeframe as the UK drop.
- Japan: Native broadcast/stream at 23:45 JST, which is what drives the Western rollout 1–2 hours later.
The recap wrinkle (aka why people are confused)
There is an odd little caveat for premiere weekend. Some listings flag October 5 as a season 2 recap rather than a true season 3 opener. If that recap does air on the 5th, expect the actual season 3 premiere to slide to October 12. If the recap does not materialize, October 5 is your season 3, episode 1. Yes, this is needlessly convoluted, but that is where things stand heading into week one.
Weekly schedule
Once we’re past the premiere shuffle, new One-Punch Man season 3 episodes are set to roll out every Sunday. It makes for a busy anime weekend: My Hero Academia season 8 and Spy x Family season 3 occupy the prime Saturday slots, with Saitama taking Sunday.
Where to watch (and why Crunchyroll US is sitting this one out)
In the US, One-Punch Man season 3 is not on Crunchyroll. Streaming rights are with Hulu, which you can also access via Disney+ bundles, and Hulu content is slated to fold under the Disney+ umbrella in December. Outside the US — the UK, Europe, and most other regions — season 3 will stream on Crunchyroll.
How many episodes?
Reports point to a 12-episode season, matching the first two seasons and carrying the run through the end of December. As always, episode counts can change, but 12 is the current expectation.
Bottom line: plan on October 5 for the first drop, be ready for a last-minute recap curveball, and check Hulu (US) or Crunchyroll (UK/EU/most regions) around those expected windows. It’s not the cleanest rollout, but we’re finally back in business.
