One Punch Man Season 3 Drops October 12: Full Cast, New Characters, and Everything You Need to Know

One Punch Man returns October 12, 2025, after a six-month hiatus, with season 3 charging headfirst into the Monster Association Arc and unleashing a wave of new heroes and villains.
One Punch Man is finally back on the calendar. Season 3 lands October 12, 2025, after what has basically felt like a six-month blackout on real updates. The big swing this time: we are going deep into the Monster Association Arc, which means more characters, bigger fights, and the Hero Association getting dragged a bit. In other words, not just Saitama strolling in and deleting problems with one punch... at least not every time.
When and where to watch
There is a warm-up before the main event. A recap episode drops October 5 at 10:45 am EDT (11:45 pm JST). Episode 1 of Season 3 premieres October 12.
In the US, the season streams on Hulu. In Europe and the Middle East, Crunchyroll has it. Behind the scenes, Viz Media has picked up the whole package of rights for Season 3: theatrical, television, digital, home entertainment, ancillary, and merchandise. J.C. Staff is back on animation duties.
What this season actually covers
The Monster Association steps up as a legit threat, and even the S-Class heroes get pushed. The arc also puts the Hero Association under the microscope, largely through Garou and his whole 'human monster' campaign. Expect new faces (and nightmares) like Gyoro Gyoro, Monster King Orochi, and the ominously named God to raise the danger level. If you like big roster episodes and power matchups, this is that season.

Trailer talk (and the studio thing)
There is a new trailer, and reaction has been... wary. The animation in the footage is getting side-eyed compared to the series at its visual peak. Quick inside baseball note: Madhouse animated Season 1. J.C. Staff took over for Season 2 and returns for Season 3. So if you see people comparing the new look to 'Madhouse Season 2,' that is just muddled fandom shorthand. Bottom line: the trailer is not blowing minds, but this arc is stacked enough that I am hoping the big set pieces still land.
