One Piece Season 2 Drops First Photos as Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates Arrive at the Town of the Beginning and the End

The Grand Line beckons again: One Piece season 2 sets sail in 2026.
Netflix dropped another peek at One Piece season 2, and the destination is exactly where fans expected: Loguetown. If you know, you know. If you don't, that's the place where the story hits a big milestone and the noose gets tight.
Where the Straw Hats are headed
The new photos show Luffy and the crew rolling into Loguetown, the port where pirates make their last stop before the Grand Line and the site of the Pirate King's execution. It wears a nickname that pretty much says it all:
"the town of the beginning and the end"
In the source material, Loguetown anchors the aptly named Loguetown arc, the sixth major story in the manga. It's also where the Straw Hats cross paths with Marine captain Smoker — yes, the villain teased in the post-credits scene at the end of season 1.
Quick season 1 refresher
We left off with Luffy (Inaki Godoy), Nami (Emily Rudd), Zoro (Mackenyu), Sanji (Taz Skylar), and Usopp (Jacob Romero) snagging the map to the Grand Line and setting off to find the One Piece — the legendary treasure left behind by the late Pirate King, a title Luffy fully intends to claim for himself.
How big is the Loguetown arc, really?
Here's the inside baseball part: on the page, the Loguetown arc runs just 5 manga chapters; in the anime, it expands to roughly 7 episodes. Tiny footprint, big implications. That makes it pretty interesting to see how a full live-action season handles it. Some folks are already guessing we might spend the whole season there. We'll see how far the show sails beyond the town limits.

The long game
Season 2 lands on Netflix in 2026. Netflix has already given the series a season 3 order, and there's more than enough story in the manga and anime to keep a live-action run going for, no joke, the next decade if they want it.
