Unashamed and arrogant, these seven don’t seem to care at all.

Too much attention and adoration can corrupt anyone, not just kids. Beloved and idolised by the public, celebrities often develop a superiority complex and delusions of grandeur. These traits can turn one into a very unpleasant person to be around.

Here are the seven most arrogant celebrities in Hollywood.

  1. Christina Aguilera

Few can claim the diva title alongside Madonna and Cher, but this singer certainly fits the bill. In 2014, Aguilera reportedly berated Mickey Mouse at Disney Adventure in California during her thirty-fourth birthday celebrations. The actor portraying the legendary cartoon character was on break, but this didn't deter the singer from demanding an impromptu photoshoot.

After being refused, Aguilera allegedly flew into a rage.

  1. Will Smith

Known for his recent Oscars slap scandal, Smith has been accused of having a tremendous ego. Numerous co-stars, including Janet Hubert from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Paul Rodriguez from Ali (2001), have expressed their reluctance to work with the actor again due to his insufferable arrogance.

  1. Katherine Heigl

Heigl declined an Emmy nomination for her role in Grey's Anatomy in 2010. She claimed she did not deserve the award, claiming she wanted to uphold the organisation's integrity.

Moreover, the actress is frequently critical of the projects she's been involved in.

  1. Bradley Cooper

Behind his seemingly charismatic facade, Cooper has a reputation for being arrogant and dismissive of others. The Hangover star was reportedly dismissive of fans and reporters at a press conference for the third instalment of the franchise. Various colleagues have also described him as mean and manipulative.

  1. Jennifer Lopez

Despite her friendly and likeable on-screen persona, Lopez reportedly has a darker side. Accused of severely criticising her colleagues and being rude to service staff, Lopez's reputation for arrogance is well-documented.

For instance, she openly criticised Madonna and Cameron Diaz's acting skills in interviews during the early 2000s.

  1. Quentin Tarantino

Tarantino's films may be controversial and not to everyone's taste, but the director admits he enjoys creating them regardless. Furthermore, he believes he has no competition in the film industry, demonstrating that he clearly doesn't see virtue in humility.

  1. Kanye West

Undoubtedly the biggest egotist on this list, West's infamous comments about the Jews and controversial songs only add to his contentious public persona. The singer seems to believe in his own invincibility, appearing to think there are no boundaries to his actions.
