Episode 5 of Nice to Not Meet You lands next week, and yes, that is Lee Jung-jae doing banter and slow-burn flirting instead of surviving death games. The enemies-to-lovers mess is officially heating up.

Internationally, it pops up on Prime Video shortly after the Korean broadcast. Timing can slide a bit depending on when subtitles go live, so give it a beat if it is not there the second the credits roll on tvN.

The setup
Created by writer Jung Yeo-rang and director Kim Ga-ram, Nice to Not Meet You keeps leaning into chaotic humor and sneaky feelings. Lee Jung-jae (yep, Squid Game) is Lim Hyeon-jun, a famous actor who has been boxed in by one long-running role. Lim Ji-yeon (The Glory) plays Wi Jeong-sin, a high-profile political journalist who was bumped to the entertainment desk after a controversy. It is a deliciously awkward pairing on paper, and the show knows it.
Where things stand before Episode 5
Hyeon-jun and Jeong-sin started out clashing at every turn. The tension peaked at a hospital run-in where Jeong-sin overheard a painfully personal exchange between Hyeon-jun, his mom, and his ex. Not ideal. Then came the twist: the two of them ended up as each other’s blind date. Because of course they did. Now the line between sparring partners and something more is getting blurrier by the episode.
How to watch
In Korea: it airs exclusively on tvN.
Outside Korea: stream it on Prime Video shortly after the tvN broadcast. Prime offers multiple subtitle options, including English, Spanish, and Hindi. All previous Season 1 episodes are available there if you need to catch up.
You will need an active Prime membership to watch internationally. Pricing starts at $14.99 per month, with discounted plans for students and government-assisted users. You can go month-to-month or annual through your Amazon account.
Why this episode matters
We are squarely in the 'they protest too much' portion of the arc, and with the blind-date reveal hanging in the air, expect more sharp banter, a few dents in their armor, and that creeping chemistry the show keeps sneaking in between punchlines.
