Seeing how The Voice is in its 23rd season already, it's no surprise that the show has undergone major changes in a bid to attract and keep audiences.

Each season introduces new coaches, and this year, Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper have joined the panel. However, the one constant presence, Blake Shelton, will be stepping down after this season. Yet, it seems he has groomed a potential successor.

Young Niall Horan, the Irish singer and songwriter known for his membership in the popular British boy band One Direction, is often affectionately referred to by veteran coach Blake Shelton as "his son". In response, Niall playfully addresses Blake as "dad."

Kelly Clarkson, another regular coach on the show, laughingly noted that the father-son dynamic between Blake and Niall was fun to watch.

What likely began as a joke has evolved into a bonding ritual for Niall and Blake. Chance the Rapper described their rapport as "an interesting dynamic," noting that the two complement each other and have grown to resemble one another. Blake even jokingly pondered if he should take an ancestry test. Their heartwarming relationship reached a high point when Niall presented Blake with a "World's Best Dad" mug.

“I love the coaches dynamic this year they have good energy and Niall and Blake’s dad & son relationship is a +,” wrote YouTuber Alicia Barron.

“Aawwwnnn so sweet to watch Blake and Niall. Their love is so genuine and brings smiles to the face..and their funny moments? So hilarious!! Niall's facial expressions are so cute!! I love their dynamics..The friendship between the coaches this season gladdens the heart,” wisdom faith added in another YouTube comment.

Many viewers find this relationship particularly endearing, considering that Season 23 is Blake Shelton's last. Fans are delighted to see the nine-time winning coach enjoying his final season, and his bond with Niall is said to make it even more memorable.
