New on Peacock This Week: Every TV Show and Movie Arriving Dec 15-21, 2025

Peacock is loading up the week of December 15-21 with a couple of notable premieres and a horror marathon you can binge straight through the holidays. Here are the highlights and the full drop, with a few quirks worth flagging.

The big adds

First up, 'Polite Society' lands Tuesday, December 16. It is Nida Manzoor's feature about Ria Khan, a teenager dead set on becoming a stunt performer who pivots to a rescue mission when her older sister Lena gets engaged to a guy Ria does not trust. It is a sharp, kinetic crowd-pleaser that plays like a love letter to martial-arts movies and sisterhood.

Then on Friday, December 19, Peacock premieres 'Him' as a Peacock Exclusive. Justin Tipping directs from a script he co-wrote with Skip Bronkie and Zack Akers. Jordan Peele co-produces alongside Ian Cooper, Win Rosenfield, and Jamal Watson. The cast includes Marlon Wayans, Tyriq Withers, Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, and Jim Jeffries. The setup: a promising young football player starts training under a retired veteran quarterback, only to realize his mentor is hiding a nasty secret. Sounds like a sports thriller with teeth.

The Saw situation

Peacock is also dumping a big chunk of the Saw franchise this week. The series follows John 'Jigsaw' Kramer (played by Tobin Bell), who kidnaps people and forces them into sadistic 'tests' and 'games' that push the body and mind to the edge. The write-up says everything is coming except 'Saw 3D'... but the lineup also lists 'Saw: The Final Chapter,' which is the title that movie used in a lot of places. So, either they are excluding the 3D branding but including the film under its alternate title, or someone mixed up the wording. Either way, get ready for a whole lot of reverse bear traps and moral lectures.
