Warner Bros. has set a release date and unveiled a stacked ensemble for Nancy Meyers’ long-awaited return, with Owen Wilson and Jude Law aboard. The studio picked up the untitled film last October after Netflix scrapped it over budget disputes.
Nancy Meyers is officially back in the game. Warner Bros. just pulled the curtain on the cast (yep, it is stacked) and circled a release date for her long-in-the-works, still-untitled comeback movie. This is the same project Netflix scrapped in 2023 over budget fights before Warner Bros. scooped it up in October. Long story short: the rom-com queen is returning to theaters, and it is a big swing.

Meyers is writing and directing, and this will be her first feature since 2015's 'The Intern' with Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. Plot details are under wraps, and reports that it is a semi-autobiographical story about a filmmaker and a producer have been shot down. This is the same project that made waves when Netflix pulled the plug in 2023 after budget disagreements.
