My Hero Academia Season 8 Episode 3 Is Almost Here: Exact Release Date and Time and Where to Watch

Final season fever is peaking: My Hero Academia Episode 3 drops Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 5:30 PM JST with a simultaneous worldwide release—just two days to go, and the countdown is already ticking.
Two days out from the next My Hero Academia drop, and the final season is already in sprint mode. Episode 3 lands this Saturday. Here is the when, the where, and why this one could be a heater.
When and where to watch
Episode 3 of My Hero Academia Season 8 airs in Japan on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 5:30 PM JST. Crunchyroll has it first for the rest of us since it holds the global license. Hulu is also simulcasting new episodes in the U.S.
Netflix has not said anything yet, but going by how past seasons rolled out, expect the final season to show up there not long after the initial run. Heads up: all of these are paid services, and there are no free, legal options to watch the final season right now.
Exact release times by region
Here is when the Japanese TV broadcast hits, converted to a few common time zones:
- Japan Standard Time (JST): Sat, Oct 18, 2025 — 5:30 PM
- Pacific Standard Time (PST): Sat, Oct 18, 2025 — 1:30 AM
- Central Standard Time (CST): Sat, Oct 18, 2025 — 3:30 AM
- Eastern Daylight Time (EDT): Sat, Oct 18, 2025 — 4:30 AM
- Central European Time (CET): Sat, Oct 18, 2025 — 10:30 AM
- Indian Standard Time (IST): Sat, Oct 18, 2025 — 2:00 PM
Nerdy schedule note: Crunchyroll streams MHA episodes an hour after the Japanese TV broadcast. So Episode 3 should go live there at about 2:30 AM PST / 5:30 AM EDT. If you saw a schedule blip calling it Episode 8, that is a typo; we are talking about Episode 3.
What to expect in Episode 3
Last week was All Might vs. All For One, and yes, All Might is somehow still upright without a Quirk, basically running on sheer will and a new support suit. The moment that lit up the fandom, though, was Bakugo barging back into the spotlight. He looks ready to square up with All For One, partly to keep All Might breathing, partly to prove how far he has leveled up. Would not be shocked if he ends up doing something that actually shifts the plot.
Meanwhile, Deku and Shigaraki are still tearing into each other, so expect the episode to bounce between those two fronts. The previews are promising crisp animation and big swings, which is exactly what this arc needs. If they stick the landing, this one could end up near the top of the year's episode charts.
Quick reminder
My Hero Academia Season 8 is currently streaming on Crunchyroll (with Hulu simulcasting in the U.S.).
