Millie Bobby Brown Surprises Jimmy Fallon With a One-of-a-Kind Stranger Things Gift
Millie Bobby Brown stunned Jimmy Fallon with a one-of-a-kind Stranger Things gift, leaving the late-night host visibly emotional and fans buzzing. So what did she give him?
Millie Bobby Brown went on Fallon expecting laughs and ended up making him misty. She brought a Stranger Things keepsake that is, somehow, both wildly nerdy and genuinely sweet.
The gift, and why it matters
Brown handed Jimmy Fallon Eleven's blue hair-tie bracelet — yes, the one. In the series, it originally belonged to Hopper's late daughter, Sara, and it became Eleven's constant, a small-but-loaded symbol of that father-daughter bond the show built so well. This wasn't some backup from a storage bin. Brown said it's the only one and that she wore it basically nonstop for eight years of filming.
Why she gave it to Fallon
Across 11 Tonight Show appearances, Fallon has sort of been a steady, protective presence for her, so she decided to pass the bracelet to him. He was clearly blindsided in the best way, and she even floated the idea of him sharing it with his daughters — both Stranger Things fans — so they can feel like superheroes too.
'Unbelievably the most thoughtful thing ever.'
How the idea came together
This whole gesture spun out of a farewell project Brown did with co-star Noah Schnapp: the two made 30 friendship bracelets, each with charms tailored to a cast member's personality, as parting gifts for their crew family. When they handed them out, it turned into a full-on cry session — no formal table, just couches and two hours of everyone losing it in a wholesome way. Side note: Brown, who also founded the Florence by Mills brand, clearly has the crafting gene.
What’s next for Stranger Things
Stranger Things is closing up shop with Season 5, and the series finale has a name: 'The Rightside Up.' It’s scheduled to drop simultaneously on Netflix and in more than 350 theaters across the U.S. and Canada on December 31, 2025, at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. A New Year’s Eve crowd watch for the end of Hawkins is a swing, but honestly, kind of perfect.
