Where could you see this face?

It looks like Bridgerverse fans have a new favorite — Sam Clemmett, the actor playing the young version of Charlotte's footman, Brimsley, in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

Brimsley's romance with King's valet Reynolds is the highlight of the new show and has stolen the hearts of many fans. Sam Clemmett has definitely made a huge breakthrough with his top-notch performance, and even if Queen Charlotte doesn't return for more seasons, the 29-year-old actor will have plenty of new exciting offers on his table.

In fact, Queen Charlotte is not Clemmett's first acting role. Like many British stars, he started out as a stage actor and has appeared in several major screen productions. His TV career began in 2013 with a one-episode appearance in ITV's Foyle's War and BBC's Doctors and continued with guest roles in several other shows, the most popular being ITV's Endeavour.

Here are Sam Clemmett's top roles ordered by IMDb rating.

4. Charlie MacDonald in The War Below (6.5/10)

Based on a true story from World War I, The War Below (2021) is about a group of British miners who dug a tunnel under a neutral country to deliver bombs under the German lines. The task required great skill and was extremely dangerous, as the Germans were digging their own tunnels. Clemmett played Charlie MacDonald, one of the five miners chosen for the job. The movie was shown mostly in the UK and received many positive reviews from audiences.

3. Yuri in Cherry (6.6/10)

In 2021, Sam Clemmett played the supporting character Yuri in the crime film Cherry, also starring Tom Holland. The plot of Cherry follows the life of a man who goes from a college dropout to a PTSD-ridden veteran spiraling into drugs and crime.

2. Lewis Daynes in Murder Games: The Life and Death of Breck Bednar (6.7/10)

Clemmett played an 18-year-old killer, Lewis Daynes, in the 2016 BBC drama-documentary about the true crime that rocked England two years earlier.

The real-life Daynes groomed 14-year-old Breck Bednar through an online game, lured him to his apartment, and stabbed him to death, posting pictures of the body on social media. Daynes was sentenced to life in prison.

1. Albus Severus Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (8.9/10 on Broadway World)

It would be wrong to ignore Sam Clemmett's most famous role before Queen Charlotte, even though it is not a movie one. In 2016, the actor played the lead character in Jack Thorne's highly acclaimed play based on the Harry Potter universe.

The play was a huge success during its West End production, and Clemmett reprised the role of Harry Potter's son in the 2018 Broadway run.
