Manchester United have another fun little stress test this weekend: Chelsea at Old Trafford. Ruben Amorim is already feeling the heat, and this matchup is not exactly the easy reset button you’d hope for.

The setup

United just came off a mistake-heavy derby defeat, which keeps them stuck in 14th with three points from four games. Amorim still has backing from the people upstairs (for now), but let’s be honest, that goodwill evaporates fast if results don’t turn.

Chelsea, meanwhile, roll in unbeaten in the Premier League and sitting fifth. They did lose 3-1 at Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, but domestically they’ve been sharp and haven’t won at Old Trafford in five years — something they’ll absolutely fancy changing, especially if Bruno Fernandes is parked deeper again and United’s midfield gets swamped.
